GAMMA Tech is a start-up in the field of advanced materials. We develop and manufacture silica-based microspheres. 🧪 We use a sol-gel technology to produce solid, hollow and porous microspheres. This technology is patented and the associated know-how is filed. 👉Unlike conventional glass microspheres manufacturing, our ambient temperature process has a low-carbon footprint. Moreover, our sol-gel technology offers numerous customization options of our silica-based microspheres : specific formulations, organic/inorganic hybrids, adjustable surface area... 🔎Filling paints, coatings, cosmetics formulations with our functionalized microspheres provide unique performances and processing benefits like : weight reduction, retro-reflectivity, solar reflectance, mechanical resistance,… Our products are attractive for the transportation, cosmetics, energy, building and construction markets. GAMMA Tech est une startup spécialisée dans le domaine des matériaux avancés. Nous développons et fabriquons des microspheres de silice à l'aide de la technologie sol-gel. Notre processus, breveté, offre de nombreuses options de personnalisation de nos microspheres : formulations spécifiques, surface ajustable, hybrides organique/inorganique... Nos produits sont attractifs pour les secteurs de la transportation, cosmétiques, énergie, bâtiment et construction. Notre processus à faible empreinte carbonatique est unique par rapport aux microspheres de verre conventionnelles. GAMMA Tech a reçu un soutien initial fort de SATT Linksium (Grenoble - France), de Bpifrance France (banque française d'investissement) et d'EIT Raw Materials. Nos partenaires académiques restent le CNRS (Institution de recherche française) et l'UGA (Université Grenoble Alpes).
